Trees and lights are making a comeback on the world's most magnificent avenue.
However, they're all economical LED lights as France adopts energy-saving measures amid an imminent energy crunch in winter.
The lights will also be turned off before midnight.
Still, crowds are undeterred as they made the most of the revelries.
The Christmas lights are on display from November 20th to January 2nd next year.
