{O/C} {And finally} On this historic 110th anniversary of the long-enamoured RMS Titanic's demise, OceanGate Expeditions has begun its countdown to a new journey called the 2022 Titanic Survey Expedition aimed at salvaging environmental DNA samples from the shipwreck.
This, in addition to some new artefacts at an artifact exhibition in Orlando this summer.

OceanGate Expeditions is slated to work alongside some new partners in this momentous year as the world remains mindful of the story the horrible death toll taught us.
The new expedition, which is expected to last 8 days, will include extracting genetic material from water samples near the shipwreck to investigate how the shipwreck has been serving as an artificial reef ever since the "unsinkable" Titanic's demise back on April 15th, 1912 after colliding with an iceberg.
As regards the exhibition in Orlando, it will boast all manner of relics salvaged, including a precious bronze cherub that was once part of the aft grand staircase in the vessel's foyer.
Also to go full circle is a two-piece clarinet owned by Howard Irwin, who had not boarded the ship and dodged the deadly tragedy that saw over 1,500 perish in the dead of the night 110 years ago in the North Atlantic Ocean.
On top of the unveiling of these new and exciting relics is a two-day speakers' series on both April 14th and 15th to mark this historic day.
The orginally delightful and mesmerising journey on the unsinkable RMS Titanic's maiden voyage morphed into a painful lesson that had authorities around the world giving special attention to safety regulations for all kinds of vessels at sea.
