Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy went on a whirlwind trip today to Britain, France and an EU summit in Brussels to gain support for his country's battle against Russia.
Zelenskyy was joyously welcomed by British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak.
The red carpet was rolled out for Zelenskyy at 10 Downing Street where Sunak reaffirmed Britain's support for Ukraine.
"When it comes to the provision of military assistance to Ukraine, nothing is off the table, and that's because we're determined to ensure that Volodymyr, the president, and his people can be victorious," said Sunak.
Zelenskyy thanked the British people for their support from the beginning.
Then Zelenskyy was greeted by a round of applause in Parliament.
That's where the Ukrainian leader expressed confidence that Ukraine would win, and pleaded for fighter jets.
Britain is actively considering sending fighter jets to Kyiv as "wings for freedom."
He also presented the speaker of the House of Commons with a helmet signed by Ukrainian fighter pilots.
Then he met with King Charles III in Buckingham Palace.
King Charles expressed sympathy and said he'd been "worried" about the president and Ukraine for so long.
Then Zelenskyy was off to the Elysee Palace in Paris for dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
Macron and Scholz both pledged solidarity with their Ukrainian counterpart.
His visit marks a turnaround in Ukraine's relations with France and Germany, which many say haven't done enough to help.
He and Macron later headed to Brussels together to take part in a summit of EU leaders.
