It came amid Russia's unrelenting aggression in the Russia-Ukraine war that's stretched into its second month.
U.S. President Joe Biden has previously said Russia should not be allowed to continue being a G20 member given its brutal slaughter of innocent civilians in the war.
International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings are currently underway as leaders try to join forces to contend with the world's most pressing issues, including those arising from the interminable war in Ukraine.
