New York law enforcement officials are bracing for the imminent indictment of former President Donald Trump over an hush money investigation.
A Manhattan grand jury could reportedly indict Trump as early as next week.
That's why law enforcement agencies are beefing up security outside the criminal courts building in Manhattan.
The probe involves alleged hush money payments of up to 280,000 U.S. dollars to porn actor Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal who alleged sexual encounters with the former president.
This had Trump again blasting the authorities.
Earlier this week, Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen made two appearances before the grand jury.
No word yet on when the unprecedented charges against Trump will be announced.
