{O/C} Meantime, former President Donald Trump's attorneys and the Department of Justice continued their wrangle inside a federal court in Florida today over Trump's request for a special master to trawl through the seized classified documents.

District Judge Aileen Cannon said there was no harm in deferring the decision on whether to appoint a special master and promised to disclose more of the materials seized.
Lawyers for the former President contended a special masster is merited in order for an independent inspection of the documents taken away and more transparency to restore public confidence in law enforcement.
But the Justice Department refuted that argument, citing an already completed review of the materials.
And in an appalling twist, Trump said the treatment of January 6 rioters was inexcusable and claimed he would pardon all of them if elected again.

Voice of DONALD TRUMP, Former United States President:
It's a disgrace what's been done to them. If I decide to run, and if I win, I will be looking very, very strongly about pardons. Full pardons.
