{O/C} Pope Francis said he was working on arranging a meeting with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church despite the leader's apparent justification for the invasion.
He also said he wouldn't rule out travelling to that region if need be.

Speaking to reporters en route to home from Malta, Francis said he and Patriarch Kirill were contemplating meeting in the Middle East.
The leader of the Russian Orthodox Church has demanded civilians be spared and peace but has seemingly justified Russia's invasion by putting it a metaphysical battle with the West. He also insists Russians and Ukrainians are in the same family.
