Former Trump CFO sentenced to 5 months in jail

A longtime executive for the Trump Organisation has been slapped with a five-month jail term for tax evasion.

75-year-old Allen Weisselberg pleaded guilty to 15 tax crimes and to testify against the Trump Organistion, where he worked as CFO since the mid-80's.

He insists Trump didn't know of a tax fraud scheme that he used to dodge taxes on 1.7 million U.S. dollars in job perks.

His testimony helped convict the Trump Organization.

The judge said his jail term was probably too lenient for a case "driven entirely by greed."

Weisselberg has been ordered to complete five additional years of probation after his five-month jail term.
