British monarch tested positive for COVID

{O/C} {In other news} It has emerged that the British Queen has tested positive for COVID.

Just this evening, the Guardian newspaper quoted a statement from Buckingham Palace as saying, the Queen is experiencing mild and cold-like symptoms, but will continue light duties at Windsor Castle over the coming week.

Plus, she is expected to receive medical attention and adhere to all the appropriate guidelines.

Prince Charles having transmitted the virus to the Queen is plausible given both the Prince and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, spent time with the Queen on February 8, a few days prior to the royal couple testing positive for COVID.

The Queen is understood to have gotten three doses, but she had been following doctors' orders to rest since mid-October, cancelling a run of engagements in addition to spending a night in hospital undergoing preliminary tests.

Just last Tuesday, the Queen was pictured greeting the Estonian and Spanish ambassadors via video-link.
