Biden to speak out on democracy in upcoming speech

President Joe Biden is slated to deliver a prime-time address to the nation on "the continued battle for the soul of the nation" as he addresses the country's potentially crumbling democracy this coming Thursday.

Against the backdrop of the Independence Hall in Philadelphia, the president is expected to flesh out how he's nudging America away from what he called some Republicans' "semi-fascism" and extremism.

He'll also explain how Americans' rights and freedom are both in jeopardy.
