Biden and Cabinet visiting 20 states after SOTU

President Joe Biden will embark on a trip alongside his Cabinet members to at least 20 states next week to discuss his economic agenda after his second State of the Union Address to Congress this coming Tuesday.

His address will centre on efforts over the past two years to create jobs, combat inflation and improve infrastructure as Biden prepares for re-election.

Then Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and other officials will hold over 30 events in two days to tout the country's economic agenda.

The blitz will include visits to Wisconsin, Altanta, Texas, Florida and North Carolina.

In particular, the President will be in Florida to discuss efforts to lower prescription drug costs and protect Social Security and Medicare.

Other cabinet officials will also address veteran affairs programmes in Texas, economic opportunities for Black Americans and climate change.

With Republicans now controlling the House, the Biden administration is trying to implement massive infrastructure and climate bills passed in the last Congress to win support from Americans.
