Additional stop in Poland in Biden's Europe trip

{O/C} U.S. President Joe Biden will visit Poland, an additional stop in his Europe trip later this week, for urgent talks with his NATO and EU allies.

Poland is currently hosting thousands of American troops, on top of the influx of some 2 million refugees.

Biden is slated to visit Brussels first before heading to Poland to meet with European leaders there.

The U.S. President will then be headed to Warsaw, where he will be attending a bilateral meeting with the Polish President on Saturday to defuse the crisis and provide whatever humanitarian assistance needed to help embattled Ukrainians.

Biden is due to discuss the war with European leaders later today, with the French President and the Prime Ministers of Germany, Italy and Britain in attendance.

But the White House have said Biden is not planning to visit Ukraine.
