Jha said FDA advisers would meet on June 14 to 15 to evaluate the Pfizer and Moderna doses for younger kids. Shipments to doctors' offices and paediatric care facilities would begin soon after FDA authorisation.
The timeline would allow for higher vaccination rates among children in the run-up to the coming academic year.
