COVID-19 cases are growing in some wealthy nations that were lauded for successfully controlling the spread of COVID as they are now lagging far behind in getting their people vaccinated.
In Japan, South Korea and New Zealand, the vaccination rates remain sluggish, whereas in the United States, nearly half of the nation’s population have got at least one shot.
In Britain and Israel, which are among the first to administer COVID jabs to the public, vaccination rates are even higher.
The disturbing fact is that some wealthy nations, including Australia, are lagging far behind, as the vaccination rates in those counties are even behind COVID-battered countries, like Brazil and India.
