{O/C} The White House has exhorted Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, to use his country's federal powers to end the "Freedom Convoy" demonstrations.

This, as scores of truckers remained reluctant to call it quits for a fourth straight day.
The White House said the Homeland Security Secretary and Transportation Secretary both contacted their Canadian counterparts and urged Canada to resolve the standoff that has paralysed both countries' automakers in light of the convoy of trucks blocking the Ambassador Bridge connecting the U.S. to Canada.
The Canadian government has had GoFundMe cut off funding for the protests. And Conservative Ontonrio Premier, Doug Ford, who called the protests an occupation, also moved to kill off donations to the protests by asking a court to freeze millions of dollars given to the convoy.
Acknowledging mounting political and economic pressure, Windsor Mayor Drew Dilkens is slated to seek a court injunction to put an end to the crisis.
In the United States, authorities are poised to head off similar truck-borne protests.
