One that symbolises the world's expected population of of a staggering 8 billion.

India is poised to overtake China as the world's most populous nation next year with a population of over 1.4 billion.
Meanwhile, much of the growth hails from developing nations in Africa.
Such countries include impoverished Nigeria, whose population will probably reach 375 million over the next three decades, stretching resources to the limit.
That puts the country in the fourth place, right after India, China and the United States.
