To a bizarre case in the U.S. state of Mississippi where two police officers were fatally gunned down by a woman in the parking lot of a Gulf Coast motel.
Police believe the suspected shooter, 43-year-old veterinarian Amy Anderson, was having a mental breakdown.

Anderson called the police about someone stalking her as she checked in at that motel with her daughter.
Two police officers -- 23-year-old Branden Estorffe and 34-year-old Sergeant Steven Robin -- arrived and spent forty minutes interacting with Anderson.
At around 4:19 a.m. local time Anderson suddenly shot Robin in the head from the driver's seat of her brown SUV.
That's when Estorffe approached and the two began exchanging gunfire.
Anderson succumbed to a gunshot wound to her chest while Robin died at the scene.
Estorffe later passed away at a hospital, but Anderson's daughter was unhurt.
Meantime, hundreds gathered for a candlelight vigil Thursday at a high school in Bay St. Louis for the two officers.
