Now, in the United Arab Emirates sits the world's deepest swimming pool for diving.

Dubai has been famous for being the home to the world's tallest skyscraper.

In Dubai, Deep Dive Dubai plunges over a staggering 196 feet, making it the world's deepest swimming pool for diving. The depth has already set the Guinness world record. It, at the same time, beats out the former record-holder, Deep Spot in Poland, by nearly 50 feet.

Having watched the aforementioned video, people are now likening the underwater world to a sunken city. And yes, it is designed to resemble a sunken city.

Below the water surface lies an entire and real underwater world.

Divers can literally play underwater pool, foosball or chess below the water surface, or just explore the depths of the expansive and multi-themed facility. There are so many interesting things in the underwater world facility owners say it takes several dives to check out everything.

The pool contains 14 million liters of water - an amount equivalent to nearly six Olympic-sized swimming pools.

The facility was unveiled by the crown prince of Dubai earlier. But it is currently available by invitation only. It will be open to the public starting from late July.

Anyone aged 10 or above can suit up in diving gear and dive, regardless of their diving experience level. Friends and loved ones of the divers can watch them dive from the facility's built-in restaurant.

The facility is indoors, and the water is always kept at 86 degrees Fahrenheit, or 30 degrees celsius to ensure divers can have a comfortable diving experience. There are 56 cameras on the inner side of the pool to ensure divers' safety.

A hyperbaric chamber which can fit 12 people has already been installed in the pool, should an emergency occur.

While some remain none the wiser as to why the diving experience there is said to be unique, the answer to that question, and also the best part of all - no sharks whatsoever.

A picture paints a thousand words. Pictures of the facility are available online as sneak peeks at the facility, and they will undoubtedly help you understand more about what's inside the staggeringly deep pool and the underwater world.
