{O/C} An untoward spring blizzard knocked out power to thousands across western North Dakota as well as northwest South Dakota in the United States.
The power outages, according to officials, are bound to last for the coming couple of days.

The snow and gusts up to 60 miles per hour made for blustery weather as temperatures continue to taper off.
Power lines and tree limbs completely toppled over.
More than 14,000 in North Dakota, in addition to another 1,500 in South Dakota, have been left in the dark since late Sunday afternoon.
More than a foot of snow was recorded across western North Dakota.
All this follows a three-day spring blizzard earlier this month and another storm that unleashed snow on the area.
