Seattle reaches 70 percent vaccination rate

The Biden administration’s efforts to vaccinate more Americans are bearing fruit. The success is evidenced by the vaccination rate in many U.S. cities, including Seattle, one of the U.S. cities to confirm the nation’s first COVID cases in 2020.

Authorities have begun to dismantle some of its mass vaccination centres. It comes after the city reaches 70 percent vaccination rate, thanks to the Biden administration’s efforts to vaccinate all American adults and adolescents.

Now, the city is shifting its focus to more targeted vaccination efforts at sporting events and schools.
