Rep. Marjorie Greene's twitter account banned

{O/C} After former Republican President Donald Trump's Twitter account was permanently banned, yet another Republican, Marjorie Taylor Greene, has run afoul of Twitter on account of "repeated violations of the COVID-19 misinformation policy."

The far-right Georgian Republican's tweets were identified to be misleading enough to have a pernicious effect on people.

As such, this earned her at least 5 strikes that prompted the permanent closure of her account.

But Greene did not back down. In a statement on the messaging app Telegram, Greene got on her soapbox, saying Twitter's action is un-American. She also wrote that her account was suspended for good after tweeting statistics from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, a government database which includes unverified raw data.

In reality, this is not the first time Twitter has suspended her account. It had previously suspended her personal account, but not her official account, for periods ranging from 12 hours to an entire week.

Last week, Greene just boasted on Twitter about having the privilege to talk to the former President, whose Twitter account has also been permanently suspended. She claimed she had received Trump's permission to elucidate that Trump is opposed to vaccine mandates, albeit not against getting vaccinated and boosted.
