Nepal plane crash wreckage found

{O/C} The wreckage of an ill-fated flight that crashed in Nepal's mountains yesterday has been discovered.

14 of the 22 passengers were confirmed to have perished.

Aerial footage revealed the shattered fuselage of the 43-year-old aircraft scattered on rocks and moss on one side of a mountain gorge.

The Tara Air turboprop lost contact with the airport tower yesterday while en route to Jomsom airport.

Passengers included four Indians and two Germans. The three crew members and others were Nepalis.

Air routes across Nepal are notorious for being finicky thanks to the country's rugged terrain.
