Murder suspect in slain Las Vegas reporter case arrested

{O/C} In Clark County in the U.S. state of Nevada, a public administrator has been arrested for stabbing to death one Las Vegas investigative reporter who spent his life following perilous cases.

Reporter Jeff German was fatally stabbed earlier this month.

Assassin Robert Telles was defeated in a primary election, which he attributed to a report written by German that disclosed Telles' alleged misconduct in his workplace.

Journalists are calling the case a sobering and horrendous reminder of the ineluctable risks of investigative journalism.
