Body camera footage showed 49-year-old Black motorist Ronald Greene being beaten, stunned and dragged by those officers.

Authorities had initially attributed his death to injuries sustained in a high-speed crash.

Master Trooper Kory York, seen dragging the motorist, is facing the most serious charges, including negligent homicide and 10 counts of malfeasance in office.

The others were also charged with malfeasance and obstruction of justice.

Relatives and activists called it a painful struggle for justice.
