Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of late singer Elvis Presley, has died at 54 after a medical emergency.

In a statement Presley's mother broke the news just a few hours after she was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital.
Born exactly nine months after her parents' wedding, Lisa Presley shared her father, Elvis Presley's unnerving charisma and followed in his footsteps.
She released her own rock albums in the 2000s and appeared on stage with other famous singers.
She even collaborated directly with her father to produce various recordings.
On a darker side, she struggled with drugs and went through four marriages, including with Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage.
Most recently, she was married to guitarist Michael Lockwood, with whom Presley had twin daughters.
