Among the charges are three of indecent assault, three of sexual assault and the other of non-consensual sexual activity in between 2001 and 2004.
Britain's Crown Prosecution approved the charges after reviewing the relevant evidence.
The 63-year-old actor denied charges of sexually assaulting three men a decade or more ago in July.
Spacey, who has addresses in both London and the United States, was allowed to return to the U.S. on bail following a June preliminary hearing.
