{O/C} In Kenya, voters headed to the polls today amid the country's nail-biting presidental election.
One that pits longtime opposition leader, backed by the incumbent president, against a pompous deputy president.

The suspenseful vote thrusts the country's widespread economic issues like corruption, unemployment and over-the-roof food and fuel prices in the spotlight.
Hundreds of voters were seen lining up for hours just to cast their ballots.
Topping the chart are Raila Odinga, a democracy advocate who's run unsuccessfully for president for a quarter of a century, as well as 55-year-old Deputy President William Ruto, who's branded himself as compassionate towards struggling Kenyans.
Outgoing President, Uhuru Kenyatta, endorses Odinga in a move that's enraged Ruto after their bitterly contested election in 2017.
That's why voters are pleading for peace after either candidate emerges as the winner.
