One of the world’s most well-known anti-apartheid human rights groups said Israel is guilty of the international crimes of apartheid and persecution because of prejudice against Palestinians.
In a recent report written by that particular human rights group, it claimed that Israel has been denying basic rights granted to Jews. The group said it diligently reviewed Israel’s acts and it focused on the definition of apartheid and persecution used by the International Criminal Court, which launched a probe into possible Israeli war crimes last month.
Following the release of that report, Israel denounced the group, and adamantly rejected that characterisation, saying its Arab minority enjoys full civil rights.
Despite several rounds of peace talks between Palestinians and Israel, they were unable to reach an agreement.
