(HK news) CE pledges to allocate more resources to cycling athletes

Chief Executive Carrie Lam today visited the Hong Kong Sports Institute to follow closely with Lee Wai-Sze's competitions.

During her visit, she pledged to provide more resources for Hong Kong's cycling team.

She noted that the Hong Kong Velodrome has provided Hong Kong cycling athletes with an excellent training and competition venue in recent years.


The city's cycling team has also collaborated with a local university to leverage scientific research achievements to enhance athletes' performance.


The government has vowed to allocate more resources in those areas.
