Staying in the United States.
President Joe Biden underwent a routine health checkup, which finds the President health and vigorous and fit for duty.
And while Biden was under anaesthesia, Vice President Kamala Harris became the first female acting president for one hour and 25 minutes, a historic moment.

The health checkup lasted more than five hours on Friday at Walter Reed National Military Medical Centre in Maryland, where the president underwent a battery of blood, physical, gastrointestinal, dental, vision and neurological examinations.
The checkup found that Biden is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency.
His primary care physician, Dr. O'Connor, investigated why Biden cleared his throat frequently during public remarks and a stiffening of his gait. It's reported that Biden's coughing was the result of gastrointestinal reflux and that his stiffened gait was a new diagnosis of "mild peripheral neuropathy", spinal arthritis and compensation for a broken foot sustained a year ago.
Biden's health was catapulted into the limelight ever since he declared his candidacy for the White House back in 2019 and due to conjecture about his 2024 reelection bid.
And history was made today. While Biden was under anesthesia, Vice President Kamala Harris became the first the first ever female U.S. acting president for an hour and 25 minutes. Press Secretary Jen Psaki said he resumed his duties after speaking with Harris at around 11:35 local time.
Case in point was when President George W. Bush had the same procedure back in 2002 and 2007.
The U.S. Constitution stipulates that when the President is under anaesthesia, the Vice President will hold the fort until the President is awake.
