{O/C} An all-out manhunt is now underway in Albuquerque in the U.S. state of New Mexico after a suspected serial killer slew four Muslim men in a case that's ensnared Muslim communities across the country with fear.

25-year-old Naeem Hussain was shot to death Friday night outside the Lutheran Family Services in Albuquerque.
He had attended the funerals of his Pakistani compatriots, Muhammad Afzaal Hussain, who organised Democrat Melanie Stansbury's campaign, and Aftab Hussein, days ago.
They attended the same mosque and were killed in ambush shootings over the past nine months.
The victims include a Muslim from Afghanistan.
While connecting the dots, authorities called the case highly suspect.

GILBERT GALLEGOS, Albuquerque Police Department:
There are several things in common with all four of the homicides, and we're digging back and we're looking at any other crime that might fit this similar pattern.

With FBI assistance, authorities are now on the lookout for a dark grey or silver sedan with dark-tinted windows that may be involved without elaborating.

DEPUTY CHIEF CECILY BARKER, Albuquerque Police Department:
If you see a dark-coloured four-door sedan, Volkswagen, Passat or Jetta, we encourage you to call the police with that information.

Until a motive is determined the cases cannot decidedly be considered hate crimes.
Still, members of the Muslim community in Albuquerque feel their world is caving in.

AHMAD ASSED, Islamic Center of New Mexico President:
The community is, you know, it's very...(they're) very deflated, eagerly awaiting some response, some answer to why.
They feel a sense of helplessness, they are in fear. Their whole world has been flipped upside down.
{VO}
President Joe Biden also tweeted that he was infuriated by the blood-curdling attacks, pleading solidarity with the Muslim community.
Anti-Muslim hate crimes have largely tapered off in New Mexico over the last five years, with only a spike in 2016.
Muslims in America are on their a-game tonight to excavate the truth.
