{O/C} There is fallout tonight from the altercation on the Oscars stage yesterday that overshadowed the 94th Academy Awards show.
Will Smith has admitted to having stepped out of line.

In an Instagram post, Smith, who won the best actor award, said violence in all forms is poisonous and destructive, adding his behaviour at last night's Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable.
He even apologised to Chris Rock, whom, after poking fun at Smith's wife, was slapped in the face, and expressed his embarrassment.
While Smith has already conceded that his actions were not indicative of the man he wants to be, the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences condemned Smith's actions and vowed to launch an inquiry to review his actions and perhaps explore further action and consequences.
The Los Angeles Police Department said it was aware of the incident but was not pursuing an investigation as the person involved declined to file a police report.
Smith's wife has spoken about her alopecia diagnosis publicly. Smith yesterday slapped Rock across the face and shouted an expletive along with words that reverberated across the Dolby Theatre.
