Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has received her first dose of a COVID vaccine.

She received her shot at London’s science museum, a mass vaccination center near the couple’s home at Kensington palace.

Her husband, Prince William, had already got his first dose a few weeks ago.

Britain this week extended its COVID-19 vaccination program to everyone over the age of 30. The program has been gradually expanded to younger age group since it began in early December. Currently, more than 70 percent of Britain’s adults have already got at least one dose of the COVID vaccine.

Other members of the royal family, including Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles, have publicized their vaccine appointments to encourage people to get vaccinated.

Meantime, there were protests across Britain as the government tightened anti-virus measures.
