{O/C} Here's a doozy for you.
An inebriated pilot was arrested shortly after landing his small aircraft on a Kansas City interstate.
{RVO}
The incident happened on Friday at about 2:30 in the morning on Interstate 70, southeast of Kansas City, Missouri.
The pilot had reported that he had run out of fuel.
Miraculously, the plane only had a minor collision with a guardrail.
But the incident still forced westbound lanes of the highway to be closed for over 2 and a half hours.
The only person aboard, the pilot suffered from minor injuries and was taken to the hospital off the bat and later arrested.
