{O/C} {In the United States} CNN reported that two days after the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election had commenced, Donald Trump Jr. texted then-White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, strategies for overturning the result should Donald Trump meet his match.

The text was delivered just two days prior to Joe Biden's victory. It reportedly laid out strategies that then-President Donald Trump's campaign team pursued in the months subsequent to his election loss as they peddled misinformation about election fraud and pressure state and federal officials to assist in that futile effort.
The cable news network also reported Trump Jr.'s text referred to lawsuits and calling for recounts to prevent certain states from certifying Biden's victory. This, in addition to dismissing the electoral results and vote to keep Trump in office.
But the revelations had Trump Jr's lawyer contending the message likely originated from somebody else and was forwarded.
Yet, CNN claimed that message had been obtained by the House Committee probing the January 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol.
Last week, the committee virtually interviewed former President Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump as well as her husband, Jared Kushner, Trump's former senior adviser.
