Copenhagen's police chief said there was no indication that any accomplice was involved.

While the motive behind remains mysterious, terrorism was ruled out.

The suspect is slated to be arraigned later today on preliminary charges of murder.

Grainy footage online purportedly reveals the gunman holding what appeared to be a rifle.

Witnesses say the gunmen looked irate and aggressive.

Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has termed the shooting a savage attack.

Mass shootings are rare in Denmark. This, even though the worst shooting rampage in its history battered in February 2015, when a 22-year-old man was gunned down in a shootout with police after instigating a shooting spree in the capital.

An inexcusable attack that has pierced the unfortified hearts of many.
