Congress sends gun violence bill to Biden

{O/C} The House of Representatives has sent President Joe Biden a multi-pronged gun control bill to acquire his go-ahead.

The Democrat-dominated chamber passed the legislation following a 234-193 vote, rounding up a series of action given the two massacres in Buffalo and Texas last month.

The Senate had approved the measure yesterday by a bipartisan 65-33 vote.

The White House has said Biden would sign the bill and deliver a speech later today.
