Britain’s Prince William got the first dose of the COVID vaccine

Britain’s Prince William, who contracted COVID-19 last year, revealed today that he had received his first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

“On Tuesday I received my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. To all those working on the vaccine rollout – thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do.” Said William.

He suffered from COVID last April, at about the same time as his father, the heir-apparent to the British throne, Prince Charles, albeit he admitted his father also contracted the virus after some people caught wind of the news.

Other members of the royal family have also disclosed that they have received their vaccine doses, including the 95-year-old monarch. The queen said the whole process of getting the shot was very quick and didn’t hurt, and she encouraged the public to follow suit, saying those who have yet to roll up their sleeves should be considerate.
