{O/C} Turning to the November mid-term elections in the United States, President Joe Biden has cast his ballot early on Saturday in his hometown of Delaware.

In-person voting there began on Friday as Democrats pushed voters to vote early to maximise turnout.
Flanked by his 18-year-old granddaughter Natalie, the President said he was feeling good about the mid-terms, which will determine the control of Congress for the coming two years.
And as the mid-term election approaches, both former Presidents Trump and Obama have had campaigns slated for the coming week.
This comes as disconcerting threats against members of Congress mount, likely spurred by the violent assault on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul Pelosi.
