Now, he and the first lady are expected to join Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear and his wife to view the utter damage the worst flash floods on record wreaked last week.
Monday's visit will be Biden's second to the state as U.S. President. He last visited in December after tornadoes scythed through Kentucky, butchering 77 and leaving a terrifying trail of destruction behind.
Biden has widened federal disaster assistance to Kentucky, providing over 3.1 million U.S. dollars in relief funds, plus hundreds of rescuers.
