Biden falls off bike in Delaware

{O/C} Meantime, President Joe Biden took a spill in his hometown, Delaware, Saturday after a bike ride.

He told reporters he was safe and sound.

Flanked by first lady Jill Biden, he tumbled while trying to dismount, reportedly having his foot caught in the toe cages before being helped up.

But the president collected himself apace and spent several minutes chatting with people nearby who had got together to watch him cycle.

After the accident the president attended Mass at St. Edmond Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach in the evening.

The Bidens were spending a long weekend at their Rehoboth Beach place as they marked their 45th wedding anniversary last Friday.
