{O/C} In flood-rattled Kentucky, receding floodwaters are unravelling the extent to which the state was wrecked by last month's flash floods.
This as President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden toured the afflicted region today.

Flanked by his wife, Biden said his nation was obliged to help everyone displaced, declaring full support in order to put resident back on their feet.
And governor Beshear described the widespread flooding as unprecedented as he and his wife greeted the Bidens in the unkempt region.
He praised selfless responders who worked around the clock to assist marooned residents.
At least 37 people have perished since last month's deluge.
Still, more thunderstorms are yet to unfold.
