Turning to the United States, prosecutors are slapping actor Alec Baldwin and a weapons specialist with involuntary manslaughter charges.
The stunning twist comes more than a year after Baldwin fatally gunned down a cinematographer while on set in the U.S. state of New Mexico.

Santa Fe's District Attorney issued a statement.
It called the deadly on-set shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins a "criminal disregard for safety."
Baldwin is now facing involuntary manslaughter charges, as is armourer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed.
Baldwin is also facing an additional firearm enhancement charge.
The charges could be filed by the end of this month.
The shooting happened back on October 21st, 2021 when Baldwin pointed a pistol that went off at Hutchins while filming for "Rust", killing her and wounding a film director.
Assistant director David Halls, who handed Baldwin the gun, has pleaded guilty to negligence.
Baldwin has denied responsibility for Hutchins' death, and said live rounds should have never been allowed there.
Baldwin's claim that the gun misfired is false, insists the district attorney.

MARY CARMACK-ALTWIES, Santa Fe, New Mexico District Attorney:
And we know that from the FBI lab report, that gun would not have fired without the trigger having been pulled.

While Hutchins' family welcomed the announcement, Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed's attorneys remained defiant.
Baldwin's lawyers called it "a terrible miscarriage of justice", and Gutierrez-Reed's attorneys said the investigation was "flawed."
If convicted of all charges, Baldwin could face up to six and a half years in jail.
Experts say the charges all boil down to criminal negligence.

RACHEL FISET, Legal Analyst:
It appears that the DA (District Attorney) has decided to focus, in the charging decisions, who exactly was handling the gun.

The decision marks a startling downfall for 64-year-old Baldwin who had a powerful perch in the movie industry for four decades.
He's best known for starring in "The Hunt for Red October", sitcom "30 Rock", "The Departed" and "Glengary Glen Ross".
In recent years he's also been known for his impression of former president Trump on the "Saturday Night Live" TV show.
An ironic twist for a man who's now being morally challenged.
