One person was killed and at least one other injured by a machete-wielding man at two Catholic churches in southern Spain.
Authorities are investigating what they called a possible "terrorist" attack.
It happened at around 7 p.m. local time when an armed man went into the San Isidro church in downtown Algeciras and seriously injured a priest, Antonio Rodriguez.
The assailant then moved to the Nuestra Senora de La Palma church, around 300 metres away, and killed a sexton named Diego Valencia with mortal wounds.
Several others were also reported injured.
Police say the attacker, said to be a 25-year-old Moraccan, has been arrested.
Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez tweeted his condolences.
